Ephesians 5:31
“For this reason a man will leave his father and mother and be united to his wife, and the two will become one flesh” (NIV).
Prayer: Thank God for His plan to blend and bond the two of you together. Thank Him that it is His will that you be one. Thank Him for the confidence He gives to empower you in your oneness. Ask Him for the wisdom, patience, and determination to make Purple the constant color of your marriage.
Action: When disagreements or other bumps come along, say, “One of us is Pink, one of us is Blue. How can we stay together in this and blend it into Purple?” (For discussion questions, see page 225 in appendix A.)
