1. Rick Warren asked Emerson to preach at Saddleback church in California. This is Emerson’s core message based on Ephesians 5:33 about love and respect in marriage. This could provide great discussion for the group.

3. Emerson addressed the student body at Liberty University on being “The Wounded Healer.” This is part of his testimony. This could give hope to anyone plus provide tools for them to help others who feel wounded by life.


4. On parenting, he addressed the prodigal. The setting is 1st Baptist in Orlando with Pastor David Uth who expressed it was one of the most powerful messages he ever heard.


5. Joel Osteen interviewed Emerson and asked him to preach at Lakewood. His message addressed "Honest Misunderstandings" in marriage. The message emerges from 1 Corinthians seven.

6. Emerson spoke again at Liberty on “Before You Hit Send," a book he wrote for Harper Collins. This is an exciting topic on thinking before we speak, particularly socially. Emerson invites us to consider 4 questions before speaking our mind.
